Hello!

Today was my first day interning at the Met! It was pretty overwhelming, honestly. The amount of information this single building houses is MONUMENTAL, and I can’t wait to dig into some of these texts!

I’m honestly exhausted, and I have to go in tomorrow (for a lecture on a Schiele, Picasso, and Klimt exhibit!!!) but I’ll give you guys a little synopsis of my first day!

So I met everyone today, including my supervisors and fellow interns. I’ll be working on a research project focusing on gathering information on historical sites and geographic locations centering on Early Buddhist Art in South India. At least I think that’s what I’m doing. I got so much information today I really can’t remember it all.

Tomorrow - a more detailed account of my exploits, when perhaps I am less exhausted and overwhelmed.

Apologies for this short post! I promise I’ll write more tomorrow! But I have to sleep! I really have to sleep!!!!
